Peel and cube about 8 apples (whatever you like in pie, I like a mix of Macs and Granny Smith), dump them into a large baking dish with a bit of water, sprinkle with a 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and 1 tbs of lemon juice, and bake at 350 until just soft.
